FGCU is an accredited university offering two degree tracks in Software Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Specialization in Software Engineering and a Master's Degree in Applied Computer Science with emphasis in software engineering. Both undergraduate and graduate programs focus on teaching the fundamentals of computer science and software engineering – including programming languages, database architectures, software development processes, design methodologies, and web application development. Students also gain hands-on experience through laboratory courses and industry sponsored projects.
