The Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems with a major in Software Engineering is designed to provide students with a strong foundation of software engineering fundamentals needed to develop and maintain mission critical software systems. This program focuses on the concept of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) which leads to Information Systems Development in a variety of software languages. The curriculum includes the core areas of software engineering and information systems development, object-oriented programming, database design and system analysis, as well as web development and mobile application development.
